Sprouts Farmers Market Opens in Clarksville After Strong Pre-Dawn Turnout

Clarksville’s first Sprouts Farmers Market opened October 23 at 1002 Winn Way, just off Martin Luther King Jr. Parkway and Fire Station Road in the Sango area. Despite temperatures near 40 degrees, shoppers began lining up hours before sunrise for the grand opening, with the first customer arriving at 3:38 a.m.

The roughly 23,300-square-foot specialty grocery specializes in fresh produce, natural and organic products, and a curated selection where about 60% of the inventory is organic. The store also includes typical Sprouts departments focused on better-for-you foods, meat, seafood, and specialty items. Hours are 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily.

Construction began with a groundbreaking in February 2026. The project was expected to create more than 80 local jobs. Site plans showed 191 parking spaces, a stormwater retention area, and additional retail space of about 13,600 square feet across eight storefronts alongside the main grocery.

To mark the opening, the first 200 in-store shoppers received free reusable tote bags and the first 400 received long-stem roses. Store leadership highlighted the community support and the company’s focus on daily freshness and customer service.

The new location gives Clarksville residents closer access to a format that emphasizes organic and specialty groceries, joining Sprouts’ growing footprint in Middle Tennessee.
