Our Story
Our story begins in 2019, when hustle, passion, and grit formed a business for three family members.
Co-founders William and Elizabeth Ortlieb drew inspiration from their family’s history in the industrial and skilled trades, combined with their personal experiences in marketing and business development.
In fact, their great grandfather and great uncle owned Ortlieb’s Market in Upstate New York for several decades, inspiring their interest in refrigeration and skilled trades. This family legacy, spanning generations of service to industrial clients, shaped their understanding of the sector’s unique challenges and opportunities.
Their shared passion led to the creation of Alpyne Strategy, a family owned and operated marketing agency in Murfreesboro, TN – a distinctive agency that transforms complex industrial challenges into clear, winning strategies. From these beginnings emerged both our client-first approach and our specialized focus on serving the industrial sector with excellence.

Our History
Industrial and skilled trades has always been at our family’s core.
Throughout the 1900s, our great grandfather and great uncle worked in the food skilled trades at Ortlieb’s Market in Upstate New York. It’s this history that makes us proud to continue our heritage as a family business serving the industrial world.
With approximately 3 million skilled trades job openings in the U.S. by 2028, we strive for our marketing solutions to help promote the skilled trades opportunities available to the world. We believe that education for skilled trades can change lives for the better.
