Sprouts Farmers Market is scheduled to open November 13, 2026, at 2015 Pilot Place in Smyrna, near Sam Ridley Parkway and Motlow College Boulevard. The roughly 23,500-square-foot specialty grocery will serve as an anchor for Sewart’s Landing, a 44-acre, $400 million mixed-use development on a site tied to the former Sewart Air Force Base.
Sprouts is known for its focus on fresh produce, natural and organic products, gluten-free options, and a curated selection of better-for-you foods. The Smyrna location will join the chain’s growing Middle Tennessee presence, which already includes stores in nearby Murfreesboro and other Nashville-area markets. The Clarksville store opened just weeks earlier, on October 23.
Grand-opening plans call for a 6:45 a.m. ribbon-cutting on November 13, with doors opening at 7 a.m. Early shoppers will receive free reusable tote bags (first 200) and long-stem roses (first 400). Additional weekend activities and Sprouts Rewards discounts are scheduled through November 15. Daily store hours are expected to run from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Sewart’s Landing is being developed by Equitable Property Company in partnership with Chapman Capital. Beyond the Sprouts anchor, plans include roughly 280,000 square feet of additional retail, up to 400,000 square feet of office and medical space, two boutique hotels totaling 240 rooms, apartments, parks, walking paths, and a public amphitheater. Other announced tenants include restaurants and service businesses such as Jonathan’s Grille, City BBQ, Keke’s Breakfast Café, and Wawa.
The project is expected to add jobs and expand grocery options in Rutherford County as the broader development continues to take shape over the next several years.
