Aldi is expected to open in early December at the Paris Crossings shopping center, located at 1925 Mineral Wells Avenue in Paris, Tennessee. The discount grocery is the latest addition to the growing retail development near the intersection of Highway 218 and Mineral Wells Avenue.
Construction on the Aldi store began earlier this year. In mid-October, the city’s Alcoholic Beverage Control Board approved a Class A beer permit allowing the store to sell beer for off-premises consumption. Attorney Rob Pinson, representing Aldi, told local officials the store still needed a certificate of occupancy before opening, as it occupies a newly constructed building rather than an existing space.
Paris Crossings already has several tenants open or preparing to open, including Hobby Lobby, TJ Maxx, PetSmart, Five Below, Rack Room Shoes, Bath & Body Works, and Ulta. One additional tenant, Dior Nail Salon, is still pending. City officials have indicated a full shopping-center grand opening will take place once all stores are operational.
The project adds a no-frills, low-price grocery option for Henry County shoppers and continues the broader retail expansion at the site. Earlier local reports noted the overall center had been targeting a summer 2026 completion timeline, with Aldi’s opening now tracking for early December.
