Celebrating Christmas in Downtown Murfreesboro

Each December, downtown Murfreesboro comes alive with the holiday spirit. Family, friends, neighbors, and visitors gather around in the historic downtown area for one of the city’s most enduring traditions: the Christmas tree lighting.

As a proud privately held marketing company with headquarters in Murfreesboro, Alpyne Strategy is honored to spotlight the events and organizations that make our community so special during the most wonderful time of year!

A Night of Community, Tradition, & Holiday Magic

Organized by Main Street Murfreesboro, the Christmas tree lighting celebration integrates classic holiday cheer with the vibrant charm of downtown Murfreesboro, TN. On the first Friday night of December, the downtown square transforms into a festivity of music, lights, and family-friendly activities.

From the live nativity and downtown dining to shopping in locally owned stores, the evening can offer a true taste of our community. The community even is one of the best moments of the holiday season.
