3rd Annual Fall Festival at SportsCom – October 6th

You are probably already familiar with SportsCom as the go-to spot when it comes to health and fitness. Their sprawling location makes it a great spot for a fall festival, which is now heading into its third year! This festival is the perfect way to spend an idyllic fall day, packed with activities for adults and kids alike. To get in the Halloween spirit, there will be both trunk-or-treat and trick-or-treating courtesy of local vendors, where you can also purchase artisanal goods. Pumpkins to carve and mums to decorate your porch will also be for sale. Be sure to arrive hungry, since this event will feature dozens of local food trucks as well! For the kids, there will be a petting zoo, face painting, and inflatables. The best part? Parking, entry, the petting zoo, and inflatables are all free, making this an affordable and fun outing.

Martin’s Home and Garden Annual Fall Festival – October 12th

One thing to look forward to every season is finding new plants and flowers to decorate your porch with. Martin’s Home and Garden is already one of the best places in Murfreesboro to meet all of your gardening needs, so why not go during their annual Fall Festival to make a fun day out of picking your perennials! This event is great for the whole family, since there will be plenty of fun games to keep the kids occupied while you decide which color mums you like best. There will also be other local vendors for you to shop from, as well as food trucks on site. Another bonus is that both the event and parking is free. Don’t forget to pick up some pumpkins and decorative gourds on your way out!

Veteran Fall Festival – October 18th

Here in Murfreesboro we take supporting our veterans and their families seriously. Although there are always different events happening at our local VA, however the Veteran Fall Festival is both comprehensive and family friendly, setting it apart. Whether you’ve been in Murfreesboro for years or months, this festival is a great way to get yourself acquainted with all of the resources our community has to offer for veterans and their families. This event is exclusive to veterans, and is free to attend!

Fall Kids Fest – October 19th

Many of these events are planned with kids in mind, but only the Fall Kids Fest has kids at the forefront! Conveniently located at the Avenue behind Belk, this festival is chock full of activities your kids will love, from trick-or-treating to performances by kids entertainers. For the adults, there will be booths with local vendors on site for you to check out, door prizes, as well as food trucks available. The event starts at 10am and ends at 2pm, making it especially ideal for little ones who take midday naps. Be sure to arrive early if you want to decorate a pumpkin in the patch, since there are limited supplies! Kids are also more than welcome to arrive in costume, since there will be a parade for them to show off their fun costumes. This event is free, but be sure to book tickets.

Fountains Fall Harvest Celebration – October 25th

Join the Fountains at Gateway in celebrating the fall harvest with friends, food, and more. It’s happening Friday, October 25th from 6-9pm.

One Church Barfield Fall Festival – October 26th

If you’re looking for fall festivities that are closer to Halloween, look no further than the One Church Barfield Fall Festival. One element that makes this festival stand out compared to the rest is that there will be a hayride around the property, a classic fall activity and a great way to enjoy the fresh air before its time to bundle up for winter. In addition to the hayride, there will be a petting zoo, face painting, inflatables, and trunk-or-treat- just in time for Halloween! This will be a great way to spend a day with family, and with food trucks on site, you won’t even need to leave for lunch. With over 4,000 people in attendance last fall, this event is clearly a hit in Murfreesboro, so be sure to register in advance.
